Is the comic free?: Always. Reading Godform costs nothing and never will.
Do I need an account to read?: No. Read the whole thing with no login. An account only syncs your place across devices — and holds your pass if you buy one.
Is there a Discord?: Yes — free, opening soon. It's the C.O.R.E.: process, lore, and the people helping me build Godform. Joining never costs anything.
When does Godform print?: No firm date — it prints when the story is complete. Any pass you buy is locked in regardless of when that happens.
Is any of Godform made with AI?: No. The ideas, concepts, story, artwork, and dialogue of the Godform book are 100% human-made. No generative AI was used to create it, and none has been used to evaluate, edit, or alter it since. The website itself is vibe-coded to the gills, but AI will NEVER touch the comic. — Illushray
What does Gubbian Gold actually get me?: Your name printed in the acknowledgments of every book, every reprint, every translation. Plus a guaranteed print copy, an original page file, and the Founder channels in the Discord. One-time purchase, no subscription — you're buying into the artifact, not access.
What's my Founder number?: A permanent number from #0001 to #0300, assigned the moment you buy and yours forever — in the database, in the book, on your account. Lower numbers stay lower; the earliest backers get the lowest.
Is a pass refundable?: It's a one-time purchase, not a subscription. The printed book is a pre-order, so you can cancel that part for a refund any time before it ships. The digital perks are non-refundable once you've accessed them, and your local consumer rights (like EU/UK cooling-off) always apply. Full details and exceptions are in the Terms.
What does C.O.R.E. Gubbian get me?: Everything in Gubbian Gold, plus: something of yours named permanently in the canon, a 60-minute one-on-one creator call, three original page files of your choice, a signed and personalized Book 1, and a separate Patron credit in every book. Ten spots, ever.
How does "naming something in the canon" actually work?: You get a permanent place in the world of Godform — a location, a character, an item, or an idea. On your creator call we shape it together: you bring the name and what it means to you, and I make it fit the universe and decide how it's woven into the story. You're being written into the canon, not handed the pen — that's exactly what makes it worth finding ten years from now.
Can I name a main character whatever I want?: Not unilaterally — and that's the point. A C.O.R.E. Gubbian spot is a collaboration, not a commission. We'll find a canonical home for your name that's true to Godform — sometimes a character, sometimes a place or an artifact that fits better. Final form, and how it enters the story, are mine as the author, agreed with you in good faith. You end up with something you're proud is canon, not a name bolted on.
